I'm still following it, and I feel pretty good about it so far. The protagonist is a relatively classic figure. There are some issues with the rhythm of the writing, but it's not fatal, and I can keep it up for a while. One comment I would like to make is that the author often has a bit of a literary problem, using metaphors hard and wishing for more marine life to exist.
