Gin's Wife Is a Cat

My name is Bourbon, and I'm freaking out right now.

When I woke up, my field of vision was unusually low. Everything looked like I was in a land of giants.

I tried to raise my hand and rub my eyes, but what I saw was a small, furry, honey-colored paw.

What the hell?! A paw?!

I jolted upright, tumbled out of bed, and scrambled to the bathroom. With a mighty leap, I grabbed the edge of the sink.

In the mirror was a cat.

A beautiful cat, with the classic colorpoint coat of a Siamese and round blue-gray eyes... a cat.

Me: "..."

The cat in the mirror: "..."

Me: "Mreow?! (I turned into a cat?!)"

The cat in the mirror opened its mouth wide and let out a piercing scream too.

(I never imagined an ordinary mission would let me experience a change of species.)
