Journey to the West: I'm Really Just a Mortal

My name is Lin Fan. I transmigrated here three years ago and run a farmhouse in the wilderness. My only golden finger is the [Return to the Ordinary Dao System], which arrived three years late.

The System is simple: within the boundaries of my farmhouse, all supernatural powers are suppressed and reduced to “ordinary things.”

At first, I thought the System was a total scam, until a blood-soaked beauty in ancient robes collapsed outside my door…

I used well water to clean her wounds.

[Ding! Target ‘Jade Pool Empress’ bathed in Chaos Spirit Spring water. Wounds fully healed, Dao foundation restored. She now reveres the Host. Shock value +10086!]

I fed my leftovers to my dog.

[Ding! Neighbor ‘A Huang’ devoured the heart’s blood of a True Dragon, awakening its ancestral bloodline as the ‘Primordial Heaven-Devouring Hound.’ It is now attached to the Host. Shock value +9999!]

I chopped a log with an axe.

[Ding! ‘Great Sage Equal to Heaven’ observed the Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe and comprehended the Great Dao of ‘Severing Karma.’ His Daoist heart collapsed, and he prostrated himself. Shock value +99999!]

Looking at the immortals, gods, demons, and monsters in my yard, all kneeling and begging me to take them as disciples, I was dumbstruck.

No, I really am just an utterly ordinary mortal. What on earth are you all imagining?!

[Ding! All living beings in the Three Realms have gone mad from the Host’s “humility.” They have collectively attained enlightenment. Shock value +999… (System crashed)]
