Spring Sunshine on the Buds

Lin Xinye was a strange person.

Everyone who had met her said so.

Dull, cold, like a ghost.

But Xie Lanshi thought she seemed to have everything he could ever want.

Cute, straightforward, like an angel.

It wasn’t until Lin Xinye died unexpectedly that he understood what it meant to love someone.

Only when everything could begin again did he realize he had already passed through Lin Xinye’s entire world: her seventeen years of perseverance, the lives they had exchanged… All of it had made Lin Xinye the “strange” person she was.

From then on, Xie Lanshi had only one wish: for Lin Xinye and Xie Lanshi to stay together until the end of their lives.

When Lin Xinye was young, she happened to get hold of a sheet of paper titled “99 Little Things Couples Should Do.” She imagined it was a charm that could set her free.

It wasn’t until someone kept drawing closer to her that she realized the charm she had once clung to would save her again many years later.

A little side story:

Lin Xinye, a rising star in the music world, had an angel’s face and the voice of a songbird.

Even after being blacklisted for a year, she had no idea. Thinking she just wasn’t good at singing, she worked herself to the bone and became a music industry workaholic.

At last, she made a name for herself at the least music-festival-like music festival of all, only to belatedly realize that someone really did have it in for her!

Then one day, her secret identity was exposed, and everyone discovered that the tireless novel-world legend Changci, who had written countless dark, crawling-around novels, was the very same person as Lin Xinye!

Now that’s what you call a true master of time management!
