Beast Armor Fusion

A new work is out! Everyone is welcome to read my novel on Tomato Novel.

China's gaokao system has developed into a three-part assessment combining “academic knowledge, physical fitness, and talent.” Scores determine the admissions threshold, while talent rank determines how resources are allocated after enrollment. The top programs at the four major martial arts universities are open only to students with gold-rank talent or higher. The protagonist transmigrates as a baby in the eastern district of Jiangyang City. His parents are ordinary armor masters: his father is white-rank and fused with a Swift Rabbit, while his mother is green-rank and fused with a Withered-Leaf Butterfly. Their family is ordinary, but they place great importance on education. From a young age, the protagonist displays extraordinary academic and physical talents, ranking first in his grade from elementary school through high school. He is especially skilled at analyzing ferocious beasts' habits and cultivation theory, and he has even broken the city's record in physical fitness tests. At his senior-year awakening ceremony, he is found to possess a gold-rank beast-armor space. Its exceptional stability lets it perfectly accommodate the essence of multiple ferocious beasts, making him Jiangyang City's “top talent” that year. After the gaokao, he earns the province's highest score and receives invitations to the top programs of all four martial arts universities at once. Kyoto University’s “Supreme Preparatory Class” offers priority access to rare ferocious beasts preserved by the Dragon Kingdom. The “Deep-Sea Beast Combat Program” at Modu University provides access to unique species from deep-sea rifts. The “Position Defense Program” at Central Plains Guardian University offers the best defensive-beast resources. Despite these temptations, the protagonist has plans of his own: he wants to fuse with a “specialized ferocious beast” every time he advances a rank, gradually refining his armor system from land to sea and from close combat to ranged combat. In the end, he chooses Baisheng University, which emphasizes practical combat and diversity, planning to travel to rifts around the country and fuse with ferocious beasts from different environments during his university years.
