A Future History of Humanity

In my conception, this story will end over 900 years in the future. The changes it depicts are destined not to happen overnight, but to unfold through a gradual process of evolution. The ending will also mark the limits of my imagination. There, another thinker, entrusted with the mission of imagining, will be waiting quietly to take up the baton.

Perhaps in another dimension of time and space, as I imagine it, the world of that era will have transcended not only politics but also the boundaries between nations. All of humanity will live in a new age where people can decide for themselves how long they live and freely switch between online and offline existence. In the online realm, everyone will even be able to create an infinite-dimensional world belonging solely to their own consciousness.

Dear readers, allow me now to take your hands in imagination and lead you into a magnificent panorama stretching across a millennium. There, history’s final full stop is set beneath the stars nine hundred years from now, the workings of power are as clear as crystal, and the human soul has finally escaped every chain, both visible and invisible.

I will become one node of thought in the diverse world of future humanity and slowly unfurl this sweeping tale of civilization for you, telling how we moved from division to coexistence, from ignorance to awakening. This is not a prophecy, but another possibility extrapolated from the course of civilization’s development.
