The story takes place in the fictional Daliang Kingdom, where the world is torn apart and princes, thieves, and sorcerers are wreaking havoc. Liu Wujiu went into exile because his family was framed. On the way, he became friends in times of need with Hua Xiaotan, Shi Ziming, and the cunning girl Du Xiyun, and was taken in by Wei Danian. Each of the five people showed their magical powers and relied on humor and wisdom to survive in the cracks. They escaped from a small castle, traveled in troubled times, got involved in intrigues, and experienced life-and-death adventures with constant reversals. In the process of redemption, growth, mutual trust, and constant encounters with divisions and reunions, everyone uncovered the true source of chaos in the Liang Kingdom, each regained the courage and ideals of life, and finally worked together to break limitations, rebuild their homeland, and usher in a new order.
