I Handed Over the Journey to the West System from the Start, and the Nation Made Me Become a Demon

Jiang Fan transmigrates to a parallel world and accidentally activates the [Journey to the West National Destiny Role-Playing System]. Before he can celebrate, the System informs him that he must act out the Eighty-One Tribulations from Journey to the West. Every time he successfully “tests” a “Pilgrim,” he will bring a tremendous boost to China’s national destiny.

But there isn’t even a Tang Monk and his disciples in this world!

After careful consideration, fresh graduate Jiang Fan makes a resolute choice: hand the System over to the government!

“What? Activating the System means I have to play the Black Wind Monster, at Guanyin Monastery?”

“Report! An energy anomaly has appeared over the Black Wind Mountain scenic area. It may be a mythological phenomenon!”

“To play the Yellow Wind Monster, I have to blow the Samadhi Divine Wind?”

“Report! Our country has successfully developed a ‘psionic meteorological weapon’ capable of creating super sandstorms on demand!”

“To play the Gold Horn and Silver Horn Kings, I need the Purple Gold Gourd and the Sheep-Fat Jade Bottle?”

“Report! The Chinese Academy of Sciences worked through the night to crack spatial folding technology. The ‘subspace containment device’ is ready!”

With the country’s full support, Jiang Fan plays one classic demon king after another, ushering in spiritual qi revival, mythological technology, and a massive rise in cultivation for the entire population. Meanwhile, beyond the stars, slumbering alien gods open their greedy eyes.

Faced with the menacing arrival of the ancient Cthulhu gods, the Norse giants, and the Olympian gods...

Jiang Fan dons the Golden Chainmail Armor, wields the Golden Cudgel, and becomes the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, with an entire country that has grown into the “Heavenly Court” behind him.

“Old Sun hasn’t finished acting out the Eighty-One Tribulations yet. You foreign gods want to jump in and count as another tribulation?”
