What Pirate King? Call Me the News King!

The Great Pirate Era: powerful figures rise, and conflict rages without end. Sea Emperors carve up the oceans and make their names feared far and wide. Marine Admirals wield world-shattering power, striking fear into pirates everywhere. In this age of danger and opportunity, Xiano, who transmigrated into this world, awakens the News Points System. By publishing news, he earns points based on how widely the events are exposed, which he can use to buy items in the System Shop. “What? A Warlord of the Sea is trying to overthrow a kingdom to get an Ancient Weapon? That's huge news! The whole world has to hear about it!” “The hero of the Marines' grandson has gone to sea as a pirate, and he's even beaten up a Celestial Dragon in public? Everyone in the Monkey family is a real character!” “The Summit War? The World Economy News Paper absolutely has to get in on that!” “If publishing news can make me stronger... then could I take the fight straight to the Holy Land of Mary Geoise?” “Devil Fruits, Stands, Sharingan, Zanpakuto... The System even has Pokemon?? But these prices... Sheesh! No matter. A few more Celestial Dragons and I'll have enough points!” “Like I always say, everything I've achieved today is thanks to my own hard work! I'll spend another 3,000 points. System, max out my Conqueror's Haki! Thanks!” Many years later. “How many times do I have to tell you? I'm just a little reporter! Why are you putting a yellow robe on me? This is truly a terrible burden for Your Majesty!” So said Xiano, president of the World Economy News Paper, leader of the Cross Guild, the strongest Emperor on the seas, mastermind behind countless major incidents, the man who kept Imu awake at night, and the one who stood above the world.
