Main synopsis:

One night, Lang Qian was on his way home when he stumbled upon a murder scene and caught the killer's attention.

He managed to get away, but the next day, he ran into the murderer. He pretended not to know anything, thinking he could get away with it.

But there were too many suspicious details and too many strange occurrences.

Lang Qian had a friend who had gone missing, and he had been searching for him ever since.

But his search had turned up nothing.

Then, one night, Lang Qian saw a man across the street walking his dog on the balcony.

He took a closer look and realized the man was the murderer!

And the dog on the ground didn't seem to be a dog at all.

At that very moment, the man across the way recognized him too.

He smiled right at Lang Qian.

Lang Qian suddenly understood everything.

And from then on, he fell into the abyss.
