When children’s book illustrator Jiang Xiaoyang moves into Love Apartment, he brings no luggage, just a life philosophy that could only cause chaos: “You guys are so inefficient at arguing. Why don’t we play a game instead?”
And so the daily life of Apartments 3601 and 3602 becomes his “fun laboratory”:
The legendary bickering between Zeng Xiaoxian and Hu Yifei becomes a scoreboard, and apparently the winner gets a “mysterious privilege”?
Every time Lu Ziqiao tries to flirt with a girl, there’s a “sideline coach” behind him, frantically taking notes in a sketchbook.
Even lawyer Zhang Wei’s history of penny-pinching unexpectedly becomes the key to passing some “hell-level challenge.”
Just as everyone gets used to the presence of this “mischief-maker,” a demolition notice plunges the apartment into silence. Jiang Xiaoyang quietly opens his well-worn sketchbook, which hides an “ultimate game” capable of leaving everyone stunned…
The ultimate partner in crime has officially arrived. His mission is to turn everyone’s “embarrassing past” into their best memories.
When I was little, I really wanted to join them while watching the show. Since I can’t become one of them, I’ll let my spirit become part of their world. Let’s open a new chapter together. The protagonist does not transmigrate and doesn’t know the plot.
As I kept writing, it gradually started to feel like a slice-of-life wellness story, and I couldn’t quite take it. I’ve changed the introductions of some characters, especially Zhang Wei. I don’t want him to suffer so much humiliation.
It's very tiring to watch, and I don't feel happy or relaxed. After reading Chapter 23, I couldn't stand it anymore. When did the inexplicable orange cat and Chen Meijia appear? There is also a sense of literary youth exclusive to newcomers. It feels like some parts are not written by humans.
