In a universe composed of floating continents and "sea of data", memories can be encoded and souls can be downloaded. The protagonist, "Amnesiac" Lane, is a memory scavenger who can only remember things for 24 hours. During a cleaning mission, he accidentally came into contact with a banned "myth code", which awakened the sleeping ancient consciousness and made him the prey of two major forces: one is the technological god "Wanlu Tianwang" who tries to use the ultimate algorithm to unify all consciousness, and the other is the ancient inheritance "Mountain and Sea Secret" that protects the truth of the world and resists data erosion.
In order to recover his stolen past, and to prevent the world from being formatted into cold data, Ryan must struggle on the edge of oblivion and weave a bloody path to the truth between reality and illusion. He will eventually discover that what he wants to recover is not only his own memory, but also the source of the tampering of the world.
