Li Cangxuan & Zhang Lingshu (a cold, sharp-tongued male ghost 1 vs. a timid, stubborn, kind-hearted 0) (mutual firsts, turning a straight man gay, sworn enemies)
The ties from our past lives have destined us to be entangled in this one! (The grudge from the last life will be avenged in this one!)
During a game of truth or dare, Zhang Lingshu kissed a bronze statue outside a museum. To his surprise, he released Li Cangxuan, an evil ghost who had been sealed away for a thousand years.
Li Cangxuan had once been a decisive prince, and the person responsible for his execution by five horses was none other than Zhang Lingshu’s previous incarnation, Zhang Qiyuan!
At first, Li Cangxuan wanted to kill Zhang Lingshu to ease the hatred in his heart. But he never expected that he and Zhang Lingshu would share each other’s senses.
Afraid that if Zhang Lingshu died, he would also be scattered into oblivion, Li Cangxuan changed his strategy and made Zhang Lingshu help him undo the seals on the rest of his severed limbs.
At first, Li Cangxuan could hardly stand Zhang Lingshu. He tormented him at every opportunity, treating him like a slave, a blood servant, and a tool.
But as the two bickered their way through one chaotic encounter after another, Li Cangxuan was drawn to Zhang Lingshu’s kindness and warmth, and gradually fell for the one person he should never have loved...
(This story has both a romance and a main quest.)
It was my first time to watch this type of dual-male protagonist, but I was still attracted by the setting and have been following it. I personally think it is very interesting, the main story line is relatively clear, and the sub-lines are relatively rich.
