Strange Stories

In the early Qing Dynasty, Pu Wenling, a scholar who failed in the imperial examination, was on his way to Beijing to take the exam. He was trapped in the deserted mountain temple "Lanruo Temple" due to heavy rain. He accidentally obtained two strange objects: a blank volume "Strange Stories" and a "Zhiyi Pen" that can penetrate into the underworld. This pen can automatically reveal signs of strange things that have not happened in the scroll, and writing the truth can also change the cause and effect of reality. From then on, he was forced to get involved in the intertwined puzzle of humans, ghosts, foxes and demons, embarking on a fateful journey of recording anecdotes and solving mysteries at the same time.
