Yunding Town

"Yunding Town" is an affectionate work that spans childhood innocence, youth trauma and technological ethics. The story is set in the small town of Yunding, which is shrouded in rime all year round. It tells the story of the bond and redemption that Gu Xinheng and Shengchen have weaved together since they met at the age of seven. Childhood sweethearts, they experienced the haze of campus bullying and the warmth of protecting each other during separation and reunion, and made a promise to go to the future together. However, when Gu Xinheng reached the peak of his career in the field of AI, Shen Qing died trying to save him, completely shattering the world he had rebuilt. After that, Gu Xinheng fell into a morbid obsession, trying to use technology to recreate his lost lover, but he was still unable to fill the hole deep in his soul. In the end, he returned to the town with an AI robot that was exactly the same as Shen Zhen, and completed a ceremony of longing, repentance and eternal farewell in front of the snowy mountains and tombstones.
