Reborn as a three-year-old little lucky koi, she ends up with a cruel mother.
Because she’s a girl, her mother even tries to starve her to death!
Luckily, Grandma snatches her up. “If you won’t love her, I will!”
After the family splits up and lives on its own, her koi luck goes into overdrive:
Wild rabbits line up to come knocking, hens lay double-yolk eggs like crazy, and the crops in the fields grow like they’re alive!
Relatives who once looked down on her now vie to dote on her, their eyes red with envy.
Her fourth uncle, who passes the imperial exams, spoils her rotten too. “Lier, be my own daughter!”
Before long, she becomes the whole village’s lucky star, cherished by everyone.
Her biological parents, who once treated her like garbage, finally regret it bitterly and kneel outside the door, begging her to come home.
Lier snuggles in Grandma’s arms and blinks her big, innocent eyes.
Home? Isn’t this her home already?
As for those two strangers… She tilts her head and thinks it over. The candied hawthorn in her hand is sweeter anyway.
[Adorable child + everyone’s favorite + lucky koi + family life + healing + cozy everyday moments]
I thought this book was average when I didn't read it. I read it when I had nothing to do. The more I read, the more addicted I became. The author writes very well. A senior bookworm in his 40s left a message.
It's so wonderfully written and so beautiful.
Good looking, my type
A very good novel, worth reading.
Not bad, good review
