[Set entirely in the world of Journey to the West] After transmigrating to the world of Journey to the West, Ye Chen becomes a commoner in the Kingdom of Poor Women at the foot of Xiankong Mountain, struggling to survive from one day to the next. He has no heaven-defying bloodline, no innate spiritual treasures, and only a daily divination ability that works when it feels like it. When his divination reveals that his only chance of survival lies in the Bottomless Cave, home of the white-haired rat demon Lady Di Yong, who specializes in draining men’s yang essence, Ye Chen realizes he must either starve to death by the roadside or gamble on a slim chance at immortality. Captured by little demons outside Xiankong Mountain and dragged before the demon king, he faces the imminent prospect of being drained to death. Ye Chen speaks up: “My lady, please wait. Ye Chen will submit...”
