In the near future urban "Mirror City", memories can be reshaped. Ling Su, the top memory architect, is committed to implanting good memories into criminals to achieve "root correction." He firmly believes that this is the key to a perfect society, until a mysterious hacker named "Nightingale" appears. She invaded the system like a ghost, leaving cracks in the memory maze built by Ling Su, and kept asking: "What did they take away from you?" When Ling Su discovered that he was also a victim of memory reshaping, his belief in survival collapsed.
