A Barren Land Blossoms: Two Best Friends Take on the Ancient World

In our previous lives, my best friend and I were both reborn as twin girls in ancient times. But during a great famine migration, we were forced apart. One of us was sold into a marquis's household, abused until she died; the other was abandoned in the countryside and died with bitter resentment.

Only in the final moment before death did we see that we had both met equally tragic ends.

When we opened our eyes again, we had returned to the day we were sold. The farming System we had both activated was our only chance at survival.

She sneered. “This time, you can be the marquis's wife.”

I clenched my fists. “Why not join forces and use this System to build a world of our own?”

While people were still selling their children for a mouthful of food, our land was yielding a thousand jin per mu.

When the family who had abandoned us knelt outside our door and begged, we exchanged a smile.

Our chance to return to the modern world was right before us, but the System suddenly displayed its final mission:

[Save this world, where women are treated as less than weeds]
