(The rating just came out, so it’ll rise later.)
[Supernatural powers + projections + the apocalypse is coming + one heroine + plot-driven. A slow burn early on, then a thrilling ride once the world opens up.]
“My name is Gu Lin.”
“Ten years ago, I awakened a superpower.”
“It was nothing special. I called it ‘Crow Control.’”
“I thought I was the only one in this world who was different.”
“Until the day I found a mysterious girl.”
“She came from the future.”
“My name is Zero.”
“When I woke from my coma, I found myself lying in a stranger’s bed.”
“He said his name was Gu Lin, and that he was a good person.”
“I believed him.”
“Until that night...”
“Blood-red crow shadows blotted out the sky.”
“That was when I finally realized...”
“He was a world-ending calamity.”
The world lies in ruins, and projections from the otherworld keep appearing.
Endless stairways, blood nests, bone temples, mysterious shops, sanctuaries of redemption, gluttonous arenas, Takamagahara, the Church of Holy Light, divine court immortals...
Countless bizarre and wondrous projections, and one adventure after another in search of the self.
Gu Lin travels through these projections, seeking hope for a world on the brink of collapse.
Even with the apocalypse looming, someone will carry the torch forward.
It is a heart that longs for justice and strives to do what is right.
“I don’t know how to save the world.”
“But I do know this.”
“Even gods can die when they’re killed.”
(The synopsis doesn’t do it justice. Please read the story.)
Let's talk about the protagonist. Gu Lin's essence is actually very simple. He is a good person. This is the simplest and most core base color. A good person who inherited the good nature of his parents, has expectations for the world, praises the good, and hates evil deeply. This kind background was initially covered up by Gu Lin's isolation. But think about it carefully, with the power of the protagonist, there has been no "I don't eat beef" for ten years. Isn't this a manifestation of kindness? It is precisely because the protagonist is humane and kind that he is touched and angry when faced with Su Jin's death. Because Su Jin, like his father, died of sins without being judged. At this stage, the protagonist is actually confused inside. So I arranged the second stage, the plot of the temple of redemption, which was a real break and then stand for Gu Lin. Gu Lin's growth line is essentially the process of a "good person" retrieving and strengthening his inner kindness after encountering the evil of the world, and learning to use his own powerful power to realize it. From being indifferent and alienated at the beginning, to actively anchoring the inner justice and judging sins, this is a coherent process of psychological transformation. Even though Su Jin only met Gu Lin a few times, she is still a kind, responsible, and ideal person. The protagonist is angry because he sees kindness being crushed, not from anything else. And Tomato needs to be fast-paced after all. If I write too much about some emotional foreshadowing, it will seem pretentious, but overall I wrote it according to this pattern, and the changes in the protagonist are also traceable. Of course, my level is not high. I am just a desperate writer. I hope everyone can tolerate me if I don't write well. I really tried my best. 💕
[Love] Coco, the plot and writing are both online and very smooth. The protagonist is strong, exciting and logical; the foreshadowing is well laid out; the interaction with the heroine is not awkward or offensive. Maybe there's a bit of a disconnect between the front and back? I always felt that the protagonist changed a bit too quickly. Maybe I just got used to Gu Lin's indifference and self-interest. Su Jin died, and then he started to turn towards humans... Maybe a little more foreshadowing will make the impression better. But I also really like 😳. Read to Chapter 65
It's not a buddy, isn't it a cool novel? Why is it that we start to fight in the thirty-eighth chapter 😢 It's really good-looking, and there's nothing poisonous about it. It's so refreshing to watch. There are so many Tomato kids. It's normal to not be able to understand the chapters you wrote. We can all understand you [please update]
Good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking, good looking.
Good, good. Although there are some minor flaws, they are not hidden. The more you watch them, the more addictive you will be. Come on
So far it seems to be in line with my taste. It's normal that the rating was low at first, so keep going.
I give it five stars, and the author will give me more credit. The plot setting is very good, and the writing is also good. It is a very good book in Tomato.
Come on [pay attention] when will the male protagonist be exposed?
In fact, it looks good, but the score is not high. I feel that Tomato controls the data, and some of them may be a bit regent, or a bit touching their interests.
The last time I saw this kind of plot was when I was watching City Soldier King
