The Gods Descend, the World Ends

This is a script written in advance, and humanity is not the player.

When the heavens shattered and the gods descended in a display of destruction, the world's population plunged from eight billion to two hundred million within a year. In their despair, the survivors discovered that the gods had brought more than death: they had also "left behind" ancient ruins containing immense power and secret cultivation techniques.

Those who wield mortal bodies to slay gods are revered as "Godslayers."
