Prisoner of the Golden Triangle

Yan Ben's family lives in a shantytown outside the city, surviving on his meager "wages," unaware that the money is stained with blood. His younger brother envies the life of the "men in shirts" inside the compound and is determined to join them, creating a huge conflict within the family.

The compound's owner, Third Master, a Chinese man, hosts a birthday banquet. The scene is extravagantly luxurious, with champagne flown in from France and delicacies from around the world. At the table, Third Master casually discusses "performance" and "human weaknesses," treating people as expendable materials.

Local warlord General Suo Wen attends as the compound's protector. He and Third Master call each other brothers and share the profits, maintaining order on the surface while bloodshed festers beneath it.
