Qin Zhuo: Jade Bones

To save his family from ruin, Gu Jing enters a marriage alliance with Qin Lie, heir to the powerful Qin family. But at their engagement banquet, Qin Lie acts foolish and dim-witted for some reason, becoming the laughingstock of the entire city. The Gu family tears up the marriage contract without hesitation and casts Gu Jing aside to appease the Qin family's "anger."

Everyone believes that Gu Jing will be tormented to death by that "idiot." Gu Jing, too, prepares himself to fall into hell.

But on their wedding night, the seemingly clueless man holds him captive in his arms. His hot breath brushes Gu Jing's ear as he murmurs in a low, dangerous voice, "Now, you finally belong to me completely."

Only then does Gu Jing realize that the so-called "idiocy" was nothing more than an elaborate deception, devised by this man to eliminate his rivals and lure Gu Jing into his trap.

And the family that once broke off the engagement without a second thought is consumed by the poisonous flames of regret the moment they learn the truth about Qin Lie.
