In an ordinary three-year period called Chenxi High School, four young boys and girls, Jiang Chen, Lin Anran, Zhao Zifeng and Su Qian, went from being ignorant freshmen in high school to graduating from high school, which gradually became clearer. They experienced ridiculous frolics, exam pressure, family changes, dream struggles, friendship misunderstandings and ignorant emotions. They discovered themselves through laughter, supported each other in difficulties, and finally found their own direction and courage. The three volumes respectively focus on adjustment to school, youth growth and dream choice. They are separate chapters and have clues throughout. The story ends with the college entrance examination. The protagonists transition from teenagers to young adults and become better versions of themselves.
