Nexus's EVA: A Two-Dimensional Battle Chronicle
Expanded Worldbuilding
In 2015, fifteen years after Second Impact, rising sea levels had submerged thirty percent of the world's land. Third New Tokyo-3, humanity's “last fortress” against the Angels, was built around underground shelters and artificial islands at the foot of Mount Fuji, making it the core home of NERV headquarters. At this point, Shinji Ikari had yet to arrive at headquarters, Unit-01's neural synchronization tests were in their final phase, and the First Angel, “Adam,” was sealed deep underground in the Dogma Terminal. The shadow of the Human Instrumentality Project was quietly spreading through the schemes of NERV's upper ranks. This was the eve of EVA's first episode, “Angel Attack,” and the moment Lin Che transmigrated into this world.
Transmigration and the Origin of His Power
Lin Che was a hardcore fan of both EVA and Ultraman. Countless times, he had grieved over the tragic fates of Shinji, Asuka, and Rei, and been moved by Ultraman's lonely battles to protect Earth. While rewatching the original EVA ending and the final chapter of Ultraman Nexus one day, the Evoltruster he treasured, a replica he had acquired from overseas that unexpectedly contained genuine light energy, suddenly blazed with light. The resulting spacetime rift not only swept Lin Che into the EVA world, but also tore open the barrier between the Ultraman and EVA universes through a “dimensional resonance effect.” With his arrival, monsters from the Ultraman universe would also pour in through the ever-widening rift, becoming a second catastrophic threat to this world alongside the Angels.
I'm confused, this plot is so weird
