In the shadows of the modern city, there is a kind of "yin artifact" unknown to the public: old objects that carry obsessions, resentment, memories, or curses. Ordinary people cannot detect anything unusual about them, yet they can quietly influence their owners' minds and destinies.
The Midnight Yin Artifact Shop is a mysterious place dedicated to collecting, sealing, trading, and resolving these sinister objects. It opens only at midnight. Its doorway has no fixed location, and only those "destined to find it" can reach it.
After an accident leads the protagonist into the shop, he is drawn into a secret world spanning both sides of life and death and stretching back a hundred years. He encounters all kinds of sinister objects, solves one bizarre case after another, uncovers stories long buried in the past, and ultimately grows into the Shopkeeper, who can command cause and effect and reconcile yin and yang.
