Banned from the NBA, I Awaken the Heavenly Emperor’s Eye!

A Chinese prodigy, Jiang Lin, is sent straight to hell the night before signing with an NBA team when his rich playboy teammate gives him a cup of "celebratory water"! A banned-drug scandal! Permanently expelled from the league! He falls from a darling of heaven to a pariah, abandoned by the entire world!

Just as he falls into despair, a cold mechanical voice rings in his mind.

"Ding! [Defy-Heaven Black Basketball System] activated! Fusing with Seijuro Akashi: [Emperor Eye]!"

When he opens his eyes again, all he can see in the world are heartbeats, breathing, and the paths of contracting muscles!

A loser? A fraud?

On the streets of Los Angeles, he crushes a streetball king, and the video racks up over a hundred million views overnight!

Back in the NBA, facing his archrival, he declares for the whole world to hear, "In three seconds, I'll take the ball from you, then step right over you!"

When [Three-Point Shooting from Anywhere] drives Curry to despair, when [Unorthodox Shooting] leaves Durant staring in disbelief, and when [Perfect Imitation] unleashes a tomahawk dunk right in front of LeBron James!

The league commissioner panics: "Quick! Lift his ban!"

Jiang Lin's gaze is indifferent. "Too late. I didn't come back to earn your approval. I came back to grind every one of you... under my feet!"
