The shou suffers from depression and hardly goes out after graduating. The gong goes out to work and provide for them, but then the gong falls ill and has only a few years left to live. He can only agree to break up and send the shou back to his parents. To treat the shou's depression and same-sex attraction, his parents send him away for treatment. The treatment leaves him confused and disoriented, and he transfers all his memories of the gong onto a dog he had as a child. After that, he lives like a normal person. The story begins with the memories that were erased.
