Today, Too, I'll Overthrow My Alien Boss

That day, I was already furious because some idiot client wanted me to write poetry in a PowerPoint file. Then the aliens showed up.

Their leader was called Shizhuxingyi, and he claimed to be an interstellar civil servant. He didn’t use weapons; he used the Application Form for Access to Earth’s Civilization. He didn’t kill people; he made them hurt. Be late, and your soles start stabbing with pain. Talk back, and you get a migraine. Question the process? Congratulations, enjoy the ultimate sciatic nerve pain!

As the whole world went down on its knees in agony, my patients and I stood our ground:

I’m Shen Qichuan. I can’t feel pain, and I specialize in dealing with anyone who refuses to comply.

My ex-girlfriend, Tao Yao, is a data-analysis fanatic responsible for finding the bugs in his procedures.

The super-strong nurse Bai Lu is in charge of smashing his carefully designed punch clock into scrap metal.

And there’s Lu An, who has multiple personalities and uses absolute chaos to fight absolute “order.”

We develop “red tape” weapons and use his own rules to flip his table. When his elaborate disguise shatters, the real him turns out to be less than a meter tall.

Turns out the end of the universe is also the workplace. And this time, I get to tell him:

“Mr. Shizhuxingyi, you’re fired.”

(P.S. This book was written after an extremely long department meeting. If anything sounds familiar, it means you and I are on the same battlefield.)
