League of Legends Stories Focused on Competitive Play, With No Female Lead or Just One

Are there any stories focused on competitions, or with a decent female lead? They all either chase female hosts or have several women in ambiguous relationships with the protagonist. The romance is formulaic, the characters feel stiff, and it takes up chapters that should be about the competition. At least put some effort into developing one female lead!!!
