Great Ming: Summoning Legendary Generals from the Start

Li Yang, a modern graduate student in history, unexpectedly transmigrates to the desperate situation on Coal Hill in the seventeenth year of the Chongzhen reign and takes possession of the Chongzhen Emperor’s body just as he is about to hang himself. Li Zicheng is breaking through the city from outside, the Qing army is attacking the passes, the court is rotten, and the treasury is empty. The Ming dynasty stands on the brink of collapse. At this critical moment, the “System for Summoning Legendary Generals” awakens. Ancient and modern war gods, including Sun Wu, Bai Qi, Han Xin, and Yue Fei, arrive with elite troops. The young white-robed general Xue Rengui breaks through the enemy lines to save the emperor, Flying General Li Guang launches a night raid on the supply camp, Yue Fei’s army recreates its great victory at Yancheng, and the Qi family army’s Mandarin Duck formation strikes fear into its foes.

Li Yang combines modern knowledge with the strategies of these great generals. At home, he reforms the bureaucracy, boosts agriculture and commerce, and modernizes the military. Abroad, he repels the rebel armies, crushes the Qing forces, and expands the realm. From lifting the siege of the capital to pacifying the realm, from unifying China to sailing overseas, from colonizing the five continents to interstellar conquest, and then to defending across dimensions and transcending all realities, Li Yang and his generals endure countless battles to the death. With the Ming spirit of “rising again from desperation and advancing through inclusion,” they lead civilization beyond the shackles of the cycle of history and forge an immortal legend, from the last glow of a dynasty to dominion over the universe. The stars are their ships, and faith is their blade. See how a mere scholar, aided by legendary generals across the ages, rewrites the Ming dynasty’s fate of destruction and composes an epic in which all dimensions shine as one!
