Pangu, Guardian of the Primordial World

One morning, I awoke to find I had become Pangu, with the axe already in my hands.

After transmigrating into the Chaos, Yun Yi discovered he had become Pangu, destined to die as soon as he created Heaven and Earth. Faced with his foreordained tragic end, he, a man from the modern world, refused to accept his fate!

If Heaven and Earth had to be created, then he had to survive too! So he raised the Heaven-Opening Axe and used modern thinking to lay plans for the ages: he secretly prepared a contingency during the creation of Heaven and Earth, and preserved a sliver of his essence when his body became all things. While the myriad creatures of the primordial world cultivated and fought amid the legacy he left behind, living through the Dragon and Phoenix Tribulation and the conflicts between the Wu and the demons...

He quietly awoke beneath Mount Buzhou, then began the path of cultivation anew from humble beginnings. Hidden behind the scenes, he watched the world rise and fall with a cool eye.

He guided Houtu and witnessed the establishment of reincarnation. He aided Nuwa, helping her earn the merit of creating humanity. In silence, he mended the world he had created with his own hands, though it grew more broken with every passing day.

Then the decisive battle between the Wu and the demons shattered the heavens, and the mysterious power of the Guixu sought to return everything to nothing. As countless beings despaired, a forgotten name resounded throughout the primordial world.

In that moment, all the laws of Heaven and Earth resonated with him, and mountains, rivers, the sun, and the moon took shape at his command.

"My name is Pangu."

"I leave this world in your hands. And I will protect you."
