Reborn as a Professor at Jingda, I Teach History on CCTV

A university professor's assistant is whisked away by a portal to another world from the start, becoming a professor there who shares his name. He goes viral online by discussing historical figures on the program A Panorama of History. He helps viewers understand historical figures, explores the complexity and distortions of human nature, exposes the hardships faced by ordinary people at the bottom of society, and discusses history and literature from different perspectives.

As vivid historical stories unfold, he stays silent while his guests leave viewers depressed. After being put through the wringer again and again by these stories, viewers realize he's doing it on purpose.
