Phoenix Shines Across the Nine Heavens

Shen Zhiyi, a top student in modern history, transmigrates through time after touching an ancient jade pendant carved with a dragon. She awakens as Su Qingluan, the daughter of a disgraced minister in the Great Yin Dynasty, a deposed consort framed as soon as she entered the palace, whose entire family was executed. Now she lies in the cold, damp Cold Palace, with barely a breath left.

The harem teems with wolves at her door, her family’s wrongful deaths cry out for vengeance, and the suspicious, ruthless emperor holds power over her head. But armed with modern knowledge and a clear grasp of history, she refuses to stay trapped in the mire. She uses basic hygiene to foil poison plots, palace secrets to set clever traps, and extraordinary courage to fight for a chance to survive.

From a deposed consort in the Cold Palace to the Noble Imperial Consort who commands the harem, she tears apart fake sweethearts, kicks incompetent villains aside, and wins over allies who know how to bide their time. She also brings modern ideas into the palace: establishing schools for women, promoting new policies, and abolishing burial sacrifices, so women are no longer mere accessories to power.

When everyone assumes she wants to win the emperor’s exclusive favor, she only smiles from the heights of power. “I’ve never wanted anyone’s favor. I want a life where I make the decisions.” This is a story of survival, revenge, and self-awakening. Watch a modern soul rise to become the most formidable heroine in an ancient harem.
