After overworked office drone Li Hao dies suddenly, he is reborn as the ninth prince of the Great Xia dynasty, deposed and facing execution in the Cold Palace from the start. In his despair, he awakens the “Purple Tenuity Heavenly Eye,” which lets him see the fate charts of all living beings and command the mysteries of the stars.
From a Cold Palace prisoner whom anyone could bully to the Purple Tenuity Emperor Star who commands the world. He recruits the eunuch Ju Men to serve as his eyes and ears, awakens the martial general Qi Sha to break through a deadly impasse, and enlists the strategist Tian Ji to bring order to the realm. With a single word, he can decide life and death; with a single thought, he can change the fate of the nation.
At court, he uses the star chart as a game board, manipulating the fates of the powerful. On the battlefield, he turns the heavens to his advantage, winning victories from a thousand miles away. When the black-robed Imperial Preceptor uses sorcery to tamper with fate, he counters it with the righteous arts of Purple Tenuity. When his princely brothers use their power to oppress others, he takes it from them at its source: their destiny.
This is an emperor’s path paved by the Purple Tenuity system of astrology. Watch as Li Hao commands the stars, decides life and death, and defies fate in this alternate world of chaos, until Purple Tenuity takes the throne and he rules all under heaven!
