The author is a real joker... They'll always make you laugh when you least expect it. The early chapters may seem serious (though they're not really that serious) because they're laying the groundwork. Don't worry, things get fun soon. [Magic + original world + romance + passion + comedy +] The Hero, who once gave his life to protect the world, was betrayed by everyone on the very day he won and branded a criminal, ending up behind bars. With no way out, he flees along a river and stumbles into the ruined castle of the Demon King he defeated with his own hands long ago. In that cozy little home, the Demon King is living all alone. On one side is his former mortal enemy; on the other, the only place in the world where he can now find shelter. The embers of magic still glow, and old grudges and new friendships intertwine among the ruins. Lin Ye: What do you mean, the undead really can't die? Akilasi: I don't know! You all came at me shouting about friendship and bonds and took one of my lives. Can't you just let me rest in peace? Lin Ye: Why are you here? Akilasi: Retiring. Lin Ye: ??? After a bit of conversation, the two gradually grow familiar with each other and embark on a series of fun adventures. Whether they're bickering, living together, or fighting side by side, all sorts of events unfold across the world. Stay tuned for the exciting story! Give it a look, and take pity on this poor kid.
