A Sequel to An Ordinary World

The author has solid writing skills. The description of the scenery and the psychology of the characters are in place, showing them one by one like a movie, making you feel like you are immersed in the scene and feel the same. I don't want to say that the writing is better than Lu Yao's, but it continues the pulse of Lu Yao's thoughts and smells the breath of that masterpiece. The familiar people and things are affectionate and touching, and I can't put it down. I hope everyone likes the author's masterpiece and likes the same happiness and sorrow, love and hate, and emotional exchanges as the author. The integration of the characters and spirits of the Yellow Land makes the intention more and more exciting, and makes everyone more and more fond and happy. Stay in your mind, sleep, and open your eyes to see that it is you and her.,,,,

"The Ordinary World" was a novel I read when I was in high school, which deeply attracted me. Especially Tian Xiaoxia, a pure and kind person, was sacrificed in the novel in the end. Tian Xiaoxia is the goddess forever in my heart. She and Huang Rong in "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" are the eternal goddesses in my heart. Both of them have the same characteristics and appearance. They are people who are always full of love, lively and cute, kind-hearted, and true and pure people. Thanks to the author for writing the follow-up to "The Ordinary World", which brought Tian Xiaoxia back to life. I was particularly touched. How could a pure and kind woman have a tragic ending? She should have a happy ending. In the end, Xiulian died. At her funeral, I couldn't help but shed tears when I saw this chapter. Xiulian is a typical representative of rural women who are hard-working and take care of their families. It represents the Chinese women who were hard-working, caring for their families and kind-hearted rural women at that time. Xiulian's departure is a tragedy in "The Ordinary World". Thank you to the author for writing a novel that is on par with the original work. It can be seen that you, the author, love the novel "The Ordinary World" very much.

No matter how it is written, as long as it continues... Because Lu Yao's original work shocked my soul, I don't know how many times I listened to it and read it. It's a pity that I died young! I just hope that I can find a little bit of Lu Yao here. I just hope that the male and female protagonists and the key characters have a good ending, especially Xiaoxia... Thumbs up for Su Xiabing, no matter how many readers criticize you heart-wrenchingly, no matter how many readers appreciate it with painful experience, what I admire is that you have enough courage to write it, regardless of the sunshine and wind and rain in the future...

The novel has beautiful language, precise words, and meticulous psychological descriptions. It transforms Lu Yao's poignant life tragedy into a perfect family comedy, allowing ordinary us to have a deeper understanding and expectation of suffering, setbacks, marriage, and the future.

For a wish, I don't want Lu Yao to show any regrets I want to write a follow-up to "The Ordinary World", and this idea has been in my mind for many years. Every time I close these three heavy books, the fresh lives on the Loess Plateau continue to grow in my heart. Their fate, their joys and sorrows have never really come to an end. Mr. Lu Yao gave them the ending of an era, but left endless echoes and concerns in the hearts of us readers. In my lonely, sad or depressed years, this book is my most silent but powerful companion. From a young and ignorant boy to an adult who has experienced the world, I have read it seven or eight times. Every time I re-read it, it feels like returning to Shuangshui Village, meeting old friends and seeing myself in front of those familiar ravines and cave dwellings. It is not just a novel, but more like a kind-hearted elder who told me with simple wisdom at every pass in my life: There are always hardships in life, but people can always emerge from the suffering. The characters written by Mr. Lu Yao stick with me because they do not have simple "good" and "bad". They strive to live a human and real life under the tide of the times and the pressure of life. Sun Shaoping used books to fight against the harshness of reality and guarded the independence of spirit with perseverance; Tian Xiaoxia was as gorgeous and short-lived as a rainbow, and her bravery illuminated the sky of idealism; Run Ye's kindness blossomed in forbearance, and finally reconciled with life; Shaoan shouldered the responsibility of the family with a pair of shoulders, and his pragmatism and responsibility were the strongest backbone on the loess. There are also Xiulian who burns everything for love, Jin Bo who pursues a life for a song, Hongmei who struggles between reality and dignity, and even Tian Futang, who is shrewd and narrow-minded but pitiful and lovely... And even Tian Er who always talks about "the world is about to change", they are all so flesh and blood. They pursue happiness in different ways, with twists and turns, and sometimes even blindness, but their drive to "live their best" is shocking. Mr. Lu Yao taught me that happiness is not an unattainable epic. It is hidden in daily labor, subtle care, a brave decision, and the moment of peace after all the hardships. We often look outside, but ignore everything that is already around us. And I wanted to write a follow-up for them precisely because of this unquenchable feeling. I really want to know, did Shaoping find inner peace and a new career in that strange city? Will time soothe the huge hole caused by losing Xiaoxia in another way? Are the days of moistening leaves and moving forward brewing mellow affection in the ordinary? Has Jin Bo found his Tibetan girl? What kind of life path have the young generation of Shuangshui Village taken? This concern stems from the deepest resonance and love. They are not only people in the book, but also my best friends who have walked side by side and shared the joys and sorrows of life. Writing a follow-up is not an attempt to "continue" the classic, but to complete a long and personal farewell or reunion as an ordinary reader. I want to use my understanding and wishes to pave a path for them that may lead to more warmth and light in parallel time and space. This is my deepest tribute to "The Ordinary World", and it is also a gentle tribute that spans time to Mr. Lu Yao and all the lovely people in the "Ordinary World" he wrote about. Their stories are over, but the courage, hope and thinking they gave countless readers will live on forever.

Continuing "The Ordinary World" into the 1990s, it captures the fireworks of the original book and continues the lives of Sun Shaoping and others in a down-to-earth manner. It is a sequel that understands the background of the original work.

In fact, the life of each of us is a world, and even the most ordinary person has to fight for the world he lives in. "This work is like a beam of light, illuminating the spiritual world of countless ordinary people, and letting us understand that true literature must always be rooted in "ordinary land" and speak for "ordinary people". This is the fundamental reason why it can transcend the times and become a classic.

Although it feels different from the author's style of the original book, the author's literary skills are very profound. This continuation is based on the relatively satisfactory ending of the original text. The characters in the book also obviously have a characteristic that has been accumulated over time, but it feels a bit too fast for the plot, with a bit of idealization that breaks away from reality and class.

The continuation is very good, the language style is close to the original work, and the plot of the story is also very natural. Especially the environmental rendering and the emotional entanglement of the characters' psychological activities are mutually foreshadowing, which is a reflection of loyalty to the original work. Xiaoxia's resurrection is the finishing touch, reversing the tragic ending of the original work, comforting too many readers who were worried about Xiaoxia's death, and allowing the positive energy of good people to be rewarded to be revealed! Looking forward to more creative writing and stunning plots from the author!

This book by Mr. Xia is really well written. The writing is gorgeous yet simple! It brings Mr. Lu Yao's ordinary world to a complete end and pushes Mr. Lu Yao's ordinary world to a new height! 👍👍👍
