Genius pianist Shen Xinglan steps away from the stage because of a psychological disorder and, under an assumed name, enrolls at an ordinary university. There, he meets Lu Chenyu, a top math student who seems laid-back and carefree. An unexpected “roommate arrangement” binds two people from entirely different worlds together. With Lu Chenyu's quiet protection and guidance, Shen Xinglan gradually emerges from the shadows and rediscovers his dream. And Shen Xinglan's arrival also illuminates Lu Chenyu's long-buried past. They are each other's stars and each other's salvation, together composing a magnificent song of love and dreams on the stage of youth.
