Song Dynasty

In the late Southern Song Dynasty, the government was corrupt and the country was declining. It was 1241 AD. After the Mongolian and Song Dynasties united to destroy the Jin Dynasty, the Mongolian Great Khan Ogedei died and the war was temporarily suspended, but undercurrents surged under the appearance of peace. The starting point of the story is a small town called Shimenzhai near Diaoyu City, a strategic location on Sichuan Road (today's Sichuan). The hometown of the protagonist Zhang Yuan is here, where ordinary people struggle to survive under the shadow of war and the government's exorbitant taxes. The protagonist follows his father to the relatively stable Guangxi Road, and by chance joins the largest "Megatron Escort Bureau" in the area, and begins a wandering and magnificent life. As Mongolian Khan restarted the war in 1253, the main Mongolian forces made a large-scale breakthrough from the direction of Sichuan. The gears of the protagonist Zhang Yuan's fate turned again, and finally returned to Sichuan and devoted himself to the heroic battlefield of defending his family and country.
