Reborn as a Nobody on the Investiture of the Gods Path, I Got a Happy Ending with Ne Zha

Modern office worker Lin Xiao accidentally transmigrates into the Investiture of the Gods as a nobody. The moment she arrives, she blows up a furnace while making instant noodles and draws formulas for spiritual energy, forming an unbreakable bond with Nezha, whose body is made of lotus flowers. From everyday life among the peach groves of Mount Qianyuan to fighting side by side to break formations in Xiqi, she uses modern knowledge to solve the crisis of the black fog and design catapults, while he shields her with the Red Armillary Sash, turns down a position in the Celestial Court, and joins her in searching for clues about time and space.

They analyze the formation’s weak point before the Immortal-Slaying Formation, stand against the enemy’s full force in the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation, meet the family in Chentang Pass, and confess their feelings to each other in the Western Kunlun Mountains. They entrust their lives to each other during the great calamity of the Investiture of the Gods, and affection blossoms amid the rhythms of daily life. They write love letters in oracle-bone script and prove their sincerity with the essence of the lotus.

When a bronze mirror opens a passage through time and space, bridging the distance between the Investiture of the Gods and the modern world, Nezha follows her to the human realm. From learning to use a phone and shopping at the supermarket to making hot pot, to professing their love on a Ferris wheel and spending every New Year’s Eve together, the mutual protection they once shared on the battlefield becomes a life of warmth and companionship in the modern world.

This is a sweet romance spanning time and space, with both the passion of fighting side by side on the battlefield of the Investiture of the Gods and the warmth of everyday life. The bond between a nobody and a lotus immortal will, at last, grow warm to the utmost amid the comforts of home, year after year.
