Growing Through Adversity

A tale of swimming against the current amid the bustle of the city. Six young people with very different personalities repeatedly collide at the crossroads of careers, family, friendship, love, and personal ideals. Zhou Jingyang is overwhelmed by pressure to meet his company's targets, Lin Zhicheng struggles to build a business, and Su Mo and Zhao Yuanye seek a way forward amid uncertainty and tangled emotions. Zhong Qing and Gu Huaibei are both challenges on the protagonists' paths to growth and sources of warmth and support for each other. As several storylines race ahead, workplace upheavals, entrepreneurial setbacks, emotional battles, and family crises drive the characters to transform through both humor and struggle. In the end, each finds a place in their own field, and together they witness the many faces of life as they swim against the city's current.
