[Zhang Haike × Wu Chaoyue + Ping Xie + Hua Xiu + OOC warning + mild angst warning] Updates will be slow. The whole story is being revised, so feel free to save it for later.
The Zhang family is terrible at raising people, and plants fare no better.
Wu Chaoyue was a parasol tree cherished and pampered in the Siberian cold. Its only hardship was the chill when the wind swept through its branches and leaves.
Everything changed when three distinguished guests arrived at the home that cared for it. One of the guests, a little human, circled the house, then pointed at the parasol tree, which wasn’t even as tall as his leg, and loudly demanded it. And so Wu Chaoyue was taken away, while its owner watched with great reluctance.
It was taken from one winter into another, but Wu Chaoyue adapted well. Compared with Siberia’s icy winds, the weather in Northeast China felt downright gentle.
The one who brought it there was Zhang Haike. After bringing it home, he left it in the courtyard to keep the old locust tree company, while occasionally coming over to mutter to Wu Chaoyue. The old locust tree had grown wise with age, so it became Wu Chaoyue’s first teacher.
And so the two trees witnessed all the courtyard’s ups and downs, until that fake Holy Infant appeared there…
The gears of fate began to spin out of control. During a brawl, Wu Chaoyue was stained with the fake Holy Infant’s blood, and somehow, through a confluence of terrible timing and misfortune, it became human…
But Wu Chaoyue was a loyal tree. Zhang Haike had told it many stories while muttering away, so Wu Chaoyue returned his kindness and loved those he loved. It had no intention of disowning its owner.
As if time had forgotten them, everything finally settled. Wu Chaoyue only wanted to find one person, someone who had forgotten even themself.
Very good-looking, 🈶If you like it, I recommend [Sparrow Food Masterpiece]
