Siheyuan: From the Start, I Send Xiaodang and Huaihua to Keep Watch at the Funeral

Also known as The Courtyard: Deaf Granny's Body Stinks After Lying Unburied for Half a Month

The protagonist is decisive and merciless. The more he crushes the courtyard's vile residents, the stronger he gets. It's incredibly satisfying to read, and he never lets anyone push him around.

Right from the start, he smacks Jia Zhangshi with the sole of a shoe three times, until she becomes afraid whenever she sees someone take off their shoes.

Deaf Granny's body lies unburied for half a month.

Yi Zhonghai is sent to prison.

Xiaodang and Huaihua are forced to work as hostesses at a dance hall.

After the protagonist arrives in the courtyard, all the petty villains who once came in every variety are suddenly cute as can be.

The protagonist gains the strength of a pillar from the start, but unfortunately the System won't give him any money, so he has to go into business for himself.

By day, he's a business tycoon dominating the marketplace. By night, he becomes Dark Eagle, a figure feared by every spy.
