Contract Marriage: Mr. Gu’s Sweetheart

To save her family business, pastry chef Su Wan is forced to sign a one-year marriage contract with Gu Yanting, the aloof, celibate business tycoon of legend.

She thinks it’s just a deal that gives them both what they want, and that their married life will be like two parallel lines that never intersect.

Before the wedding, he is distant and cold: “Remember your place, and keep your heart in check.”

But after the wedding, things gradually take a different turn...

She casually mentions wanting a cake from the south side of the city, and the next day the world’s top pastry chef shows up in her kitchen.

When a shameless rival steals her work, he quietly makes sure they disappear from the industry for good.

When she sprains her ankle in the middle of the night, he braves a torrential downpour and carries her to hospitals all over the city, unable to hide the worry and concern in his eyes.

When the contract expires and Su Wan prepares to leave without a backward glance, the man corners her against the wall. The once lofty Mr. Gu has red eyes, his voice hoarse and aggrieved: “Wanwan, I burned that contract ages ago. You’re not going anywhere without my permission.”

Only then does Su Wan realize that the contractual marriage she believed she’d entered was, from the very beginning, an elaborate trap set by him to ensnare her with his deep love.

A sweet romance about “falling in love after marriage, as a cold tycoon bows his head for love.” Both leads are devoted only to each other, with a one-on-one romance, lighthearted everyday moments, and sweetness through the roof!
