"Chu Moon Shines on Two Lakes" is based on the Chu culture of Hunan and Hubei, and revolves around the collision and blending of "Huxiang shamanism" and "Echu Chu Ci". It tells the epic story of the King of Hunan and the Princess of Echu, who transcended regional and cultural barriers to protect the cultural heritage of Chu with their lives and jointly protect the peace of the people.
The powerful minister Zuochong broke the peace, and the Echu general instigated war on the grounds of "seizing land and destroying documents" and dragged the two lakes into war. In order to protect the centuries-old manuscripts of Chu Ci and the old Confucianism, Mingyue pretended to agree to marry a barbarian, but in fact she and the King of Huxiang set up a conspiracy in the Han River Valley. The King of Huxiang used witchcraft to determine the plan, and led Wu Zhu Qingqi to rush to the rescue. The two men pointed their swords at the powerful ministers, stained the orchid grass with blood, and finally killed the evildoers and preserved the cultural heritage.
