When heaven and earth first came into being, countless "Dao Marks" were left behind. They contain fragments of the laws of nature, such as fire, water, space, and life, and serve as the core energy for cultivation and creation. Living beings absorb Dao Marks to temper their bodies and souls, becoming "Dao cultivators." All things bear Dao Marks, which shape their forms and abilities, making them "spiritual objects."
