In the Name of the People: My Father Is a Great General Who Guards the Nation, and Handong University Is Shaken

Qi Tongwei, a university student from a parallel world, transmigrates into the world of In the Name of the People. It's graduation season, and the Han University faction's power broker, Gao Yuliang, and Liang Lu's father are waiting for him to bow his head and kneel in exchange for a bright future.

“A true man is born between heaven and earth. How could he spend his life languishing beneath others, let alone bend the knee for a woman?”

Qi Tongwei refuses in front of everyone, ready to face retaliation and be banished to some remote backwater.

But just as the Han University faction thinks it has him under its thumb, a convoy of military vehicles with special license plates drives onto Handong University campus. A general with stars on his shoulders steps out and, in front of the entire faculty and student body, embraces Qi Tongwei with tears in his eyes:

“My son, I've been looking for you for twenty years!”

At that moment, Liang Lu, who had been waiting to see him make a fool of himself, is utterly shattered. Gao Yuliang is dumbstruck, and the entire Han University faction trembles in fear!

That kneeling wasn't a proposal. It was a message to all of Handong: Qi Tongwei was waiting for his father, the great general who guards the nation, to come and rule the world!

“I, Qi Tongwei, can outwit fate by half a move! But this time, I won't rely on fate. I'll rely on my dad!”
