An immortal demoness crosses paths with a genius who can calculate every move under heaven. Is this a love story, or a high-stakes battle of wits with their hearts on the line?
When Yue Qiluo, the hundred-year-old antihero from Wu Xin: The Monster Killer, awakens in Cheng Shaoshang from Love Like the Galaxy, the seemingly naive young lady now has a gaze that betrays her detached understanding of the world. A trap she casually sets can ruin anyone who dares provoke her, and her offhand remarks conceal a blade meant to pierce the heart. Everyone thinks the Cheng family's Fourth Miss is merely a little clever, but Yuan Shen, the most brilliant strategist in the world, is the only one who sees that something is amiss beneath her innocent facade.
The first time he tests her at a banquet, she answers with a smile that seems naive but is razor-sharp.
When he corners her with a difficult question at the academy, her uncanny, far-ahead-of-her-time way of thinking gives him his first taste of the thrill of meeting a worthy opponent.
He catches her using magic to control a kite and calmly asks, “Fourth Miss Cheng, what kind of spell was that just now?”
She smiles like a flower, as sweet as the deadliest poison. “Young Master Yuan, what you see with your eyes isn't always real.”
From then on, two souls at the pinnacle of intelligence embark on a dance of irresistible attraction and probing tests amid the treacherous court and household intrigues.

It's the first time I've seen it from this angle. It's quite refreshing. I liked Yue Qiluo in the first part of Master Wu Xin.
I think the writing is very good, there is no cookie-cutter follow-up version, the plots are interlocking, and the ups and downs are well connected. Five stars ✨✨✨✨✨
