His Wife Flees with Their Child Before the Wedding, and the Cold-Faced Commander Panics

Wen Wan is the prettiest girl in the village, and also the most unfortunate.

Her cousin frames her for becoming pregnant before marriage, and they try to drown her in a pond.

In despair, she turns to Lu Zhanxiao, a powerful man from the capital who has lost his memory: a stern, battle-hardened commander.

She rushes into his hospital room, eyes red, and cries out as if her heart is breaking, “Zhanxiao, I’m your fiancée! How could you forget me?”

Lu Zhanxiao, the notorious terror of the military district, has lost his memory in an accident and become violent-tempered. When the delicate beauty throws herself into his arms and claims to be his fiancée, he inexplicably believes her.

She is fair and beautiful, with a bewitching charm in her every glance.

By day, she applies medicine to him, her voice soft and sweet.

At night, she presses close to his ear and calls him “hubby” in a plaintive little voice.

The usually cold, hard-hearted Lu Zhanxiao is completely won over by her coaxing.

Before he even regains his memory, he wants to give her his very life!

Then his beloved wife suddenly vanishes, and he finds her pregnancy test. But they have never been intimate...

When they meet again, he pins her against the wall and grits out, “Tell me, whose child is it?”

He expects to see her panic, but instead she lifts her chin and rises on tiptoe, tears in her eyes as she kisses him. “Hubby, of course the baby is yours... Have you forgotten how wild we were that night?”
