[Rekindled Love / Long-Standing Schemes / Angst Before Sweetness]

Jiang Xu is a physics professor at Jingbei University. He is a stickler for the rules and cool by nature. The only time his life ever stirred was when Ye Zhenshuang was at the university.

But after he went through his hardest days, Ye Zhenshuang left without a word and vanished from his life.

Ye Zhenshuang is an outstanding young psychological counselor. Invited by Jingbei University, she joins as an expert consultant for the university’s mental health education program. At one lecture, someone asks, “If someone suddenly walks away without a word, in your view, Teacher Ye, is it because they’ve been psychologically hurt, or because they simply don’t care?”

The familiar voice makes Ye Zhenshuang’s pupils contract. Facing him directly, she answers, “If I were to walk away without a word, it would mean I didn’t care.”

Only Jiang Xu knows that this time, Ye Zhenshuang has returned to his life.
